Copy of letter I sent today to Kumley. It covers the same material Charles'
lettwr to Archbald did early this week. Let's hope we hear something.

Dear Mr. Kumley,

I enclose a copy of the letter sent to Charles Archibald on June 19, 1999
in which the Committee of Trustees informed the Chapter Assembly that we
have proposed Paul Abramson to fill the empty slot on the committee caused
by the death of Howard Gonsalves.

Since then, we have learned that Mr. Archibald, Secretary of the Chapter
Assembly,  has resigned. At this time there appears to be no Secretary of
the Chapter Assembly to whom this letter should be legally sent. Please
understand that it is important for us to know if Mr. Abramson was approved
prior to the resignation of Board members and therefore officially a member
of the Committee of Trustees.

 However, if he was not approved by the Chapter Assembly, would you let us
know when the Board is fully constituted again and when we might expect to
hear that  Paul Abramson has been voted upon. We cannot continue our
business until this is done.
