Subject: TRANSFER OF FUNDS TO SAN JOSE Date: Tue, 22 Jun 1999 16:00:54 -0700 From: Arthur Jackson To: PRochelle1@aol.com CC: clgordon@earthlink.net, fgh@cruzio.com, manysmiles@geocities.com Paula, I just met with the representative of Smith Barney Inc. They prepared a letter to transfer our account from Berkeley to San Jose. However, it needs all four of our signatures. I am assuming that the timing on this is perfect. I can sign it (with printed name underneith), get the document to you before you go to Santa Cruz tomorrow, you and Charles can sign it. You can take it to Claire's open house on Saturday and get her signature, then you can put it in the envelope provided and mail to the San Jose Smith Barney office and then we will proceed with the transfer. Anything we have in the way of by-laws Smith Barney would like to have a copy of. Also they need a copy of the minutes of the meeting in which we selected the current officers. Can we approve these minutes by e-mail so we don't have to wait a year for this or hold a special meeting? We can handle removing Howard Gonzalves from the signature list the same way (action at our next meeting, copy of minutes to Smith Barney) Also, the representative (Jeff Alkire) is willing to come to a future meeting and discuss the various options for investment, and related issues. Arthur P.S. Call me (441-5556) to discuss the best way for me to get the letter of transfer of funds to you. AJ
