Subject: Visit with Charles and Freda

Arthur,
I picked up 9 boxes of Tabler's tapes today, cockroaches and all!  They are
on my patio with my deeply felt humanist prayer that the cockroaches don't
make it into the house!  What fun we have ahead of us, packing these things
up and sending them off. Sans cockroaches.

I think the plan with Charles is for me to stop by next Wednesday, June 30
between 1 and 2 PM and pick up the Treasurer papers and Secretary papers.  He
was puzzling about whether he should put things on disc for us.  I think he
agreed to put documents on floppies so we can print them on our own.  And we
will take whatever paper documents he has.

Charles is planning to participate with us on July 3 at my house.  He will
let me know what Amtrak bus he intends to be on and which one he wants to be
on to leave.  Hopefully we will have a productive day.  I am wishing Freda
was coming because I find her helpful when it comes to communicating with
Charles.  She also seems organized.  Should we invite her?

It doesn't sound like you will need to go to Santa Cruz to pick things up
unless you want to.  With Charles coming here for the sorting party, we will
have his input on most things.  I will pick up almost everything next
Wednesday so Charles doesn't have to lug boxes of stuff with him on the
train.
